Breast Lift (Mastopexy)

Mastopexy usually is performed under general anesthesia. After surgery, pain that is controlled easily by medication will subside in a day or two. Within the first week, the dressing will be replaced by a soft bra, which will be advised to wear for several weeks.

Although you may be up and about in a day or two following surgery. To permit proper healing, you should avoid overhead fifting for three or four weeks.
